As part of her European Tour  2011 Becca Butcher will be teaching on Tuesday 1st February 2011 at 6:00pm – 10:00pm at our Sharp Shooters Pole Dancing school in Wrexham.  

So, here is my little review……. hope you enjoy reading it. S x

I was really pleased to be hosting masterclasses with Becca Butcher, and as part of her European Tour 2011 being one out of only 13 venues across the whole tour I felt very lucky to have got a space in the busy schedule! 

Claire had given me all the details back in December and soon enough there was alot of interest. In early January the first places had been booked, I started to get excited and letting all my students know what a great opportunity they had to get a masterclass with this amazing woman.

It wasn’t long before all the girls in class were all talking about her video’s -          

‘Have you seen the one with the swords?’ 

‘No?! – what pole AND swords?…..REALLY?’

‘yes!!’

‘Iv seen her doing aerial stuff too, I can’t wait to meet her! I bet shes strong as an ox’

The Becca Butcher buzz took over and sure enough a week before the big day arrived the classes had sold out.

Great…. I just had to make sure it all when smoothly and without any problems! The day & night before was spent collecting our mats & poles from various locations, I had to beg, steal & borrow from anyone and everyone to make sure there were enough to go round! (thanks Sazzle x)

Before I knew it Tuesday daytime had come and gone……..

I had worked hard putting the venue together, making sure everyone had the details they needed, putting the poles up etc. I was really looking forward to meeting Becca but by this time I had been sweating buckets, feeling frazzled and drained & no make up on, I bet she thought I looked like bag lady as I trotted towards her in River Island in Wrexham! haha… she was really nice, down to earth and totally calm (-quite the opposite to how I was feeling!)

As the rest of the poles were being put together & up everyone started to arrive, first was Pixie followed by Eleri, Ellie, Rhian, Zara & Bethan – the Sharp Shooters team – past and present. Next to arrive was Tammy, Sian D, Jo, Sarah, Sian P & Beata.

I could see they were all eager to start so the beginners/intermediate level class soon kicked off & Becca got them warmed up.  I left them to it & went for sneaky tea-break! Sam, Vikki and Bex had been delayed, but they soon got into the swing of things. The time felt like it had just disappeared and the class finished, the girls had some photos and we all had 5mins before the next advanced class was due to start.

Eloise and Claire had arrived early so they were getting nervous and giddy waiting to meet Becca and learn some new tricks. Next came Talia who had a call from Sarah – she had got lost so we hung on for Talia to rescue her! Misty and Lisa were next in with their smiley faces and positive energy, I was so excited to have such gorgeous people here at my school! Once Sarah arrived she was relieved to be in the right place  so we cracked on with the advanced class.

Becca came round to everyone and was making sure we ALL got SOMETHING out of the time we spent together.

All in all – such a wonderful positive, fun, happy, and productive class was had by all – I thank you ALL for EVERYTHING…….. it really was an amazing experience!
